The clink clink clank of
A spoon and a cereal bowl
Ring through the house.
The roaring monster inside
The coffee pot has awakened
And is now shooting steam.
The fridge blinks on blinks off
As hungry seekers
Delve through its insides.
The blinds shriek as they slide open
Dust drifting in the streams of sunlight
That pour into the kitchen.
And as the clocks flashes
And the alarm goes off
The day begins to begin.
